Scholarships

• The Gilman Scholarship Program
  The scholarship program is aimed at American students who wish to study in any of the mentioned countries (of which Ukraine is a part) and are the recipient of pell grants. The scholarship program also extends to students who are physically challenged, or belong to a minority section, and are enrolled in a two-year program. The Gilman scholarship is valued at between $4000 to $5000. Furthermore, the scholarship grants students an additional amount of $8000 if they wish to study any of the languages listed in the Critical Need list, for instance, Russian.
• Boren scholarships
  This scholarship is granted to students who want to pursue their undergraduate or graduate degrees in countries that are crucial with regards to national security, but are usually not preferred by foreign students for academics. The worth of these scholarships is $20,000 and the fellowships can soar up to $30,000. Since the amount is huge, these scholarships are highly competitive and can be tough to grab.
• School of Russian and Asian Studies scholarship
  Various scholarships, grants, research awards are sponsored by the School of Russian and Asian Studies (SRAS) to students applying for specific courses in Asian or European countries. Students can grab this scholarship program to study in the field of the Russian language in the Ukrainian city of Kyiv. The scholarship grants an amount of $5,000 and an additional amount of $750 to students working in NGOs or theatres.
• IREX scholarship
  A not-for-profit association supports research programs conducted in Ukrainian institutions by using funds from the government. They manage the expenses for the time being, during which the institutions conduct research based on foreign policies.
